ok in the morning do i still have 2 come down b4 9 2 race, as i du have a way 2 travel, given my employer stuffed up my pay meaning in very tight for gas money, wiill have enough 4 racing and the return trip if its still on, but am i able 2 for example postpone my travel set-off time for an hour later? after the all clear or cancelled sign is given??

lol yea thats how ya do it.  When i was in the Honda club, at one od their drag days we had to drive down the track, then the side road, then straight back down - was quite a sight seeing 30+ cars on the track at once. 

But it does dry the track out quite well, took about 5-10 mins.

I remember two helicopters being used at the 2003 Nats to dry the track off 

Guys dont get your hopes up but this might go ahead if the rain goes thru tonight as forecast.  If its still raining at 8am i'd hope they call it off.

As you type that Brendon I am hearing hail hitting the window here in Mt Wellington. Not being defeatist or anything but I think even it is fines up a ltitle tomorrow, the wet track is going to suck (even with drying it out by driving on it).. IMHO, it would be better to postpone for a better day.

at this stage its all go, clear skys at present  i'm heading out there now so hopefully give you guys the heads up
