So the times our club cars will be trying to get near, as i see it.
Turbo....12.56
Na....14.66
What is the fastest time for a vvl in the club?

Just for our club cars I would like to see somethink like
p10s run off
P11 Des run off
p11 ves  run off
Then top 3 from each run off, to find our fastest  na car in the club.
And with that fastest p10, p11
turbos run off
then top na vs top ve vs top turbo. just for fun.
Then have some fun grudge racing.

I'm working on a spreadsheet that will be tracking the fastest in various classes over the course of the day and hopefully we will have this displayed on a screen so people can take a look throughout the day.

Will include things like :

fastest NA, fastest Turbo, highest trap speed, fastest P10 Primera, P11 Primera, R32 Skyline etc etc etc plus a few other miscellaneous classes.

ok the whole 2 litre primeras being in a 2 litre below class sucks cause us little 1600's are stuck racing 2 litre VE's.... no match....  :-\

Why not just do a DYO?  Can we have split trees?  Most people will have an idea on their times once they have done 5 runs in practise.... run dyo with break outs etc.  shouldnt take too long for 70 cars. after dyo we go onto grudge racing... then at the end of the day have prizes or whatever for most consistant times, and also prizes or whatever for winner of dyo.

Makes it all real simple and we dont need to divide a skyline from a mera, just line up race and get closest to your time.

my two cents

Paul
15.18@146.2km/hr - Meremere JN15 Pulsar VZR
14.66 - Meremere HP11 Primera "Lithe" (driver)

In the leaderboard I am designing, I am doing nothing by the CC rating of any of the cars.. it is all based on model, engine or tranmission.. ie. all VZ-R Pulsars are in a "class" of their own.. but they also fit in to the "Pulsar" class (which includes them, GTI-Rs, GTIs) and finally the "all cars" class..

And with the Primeras I have split in to Primera P10 DE, Primera P10 DET, Primera P11 DE, Primera P11 VE, Primera P11 DET.

Cos I agree.. it is nice to be comparing apples with apples.

I'll post a dummy version of what this leaderboard will look like later today for peoples feedback/requests for additions/corrections etc ..

I like Joe's idea of model vs model (car's - not girls jelly wrestling.... but now that I think of it....hmmm) Oops digressing again.

We seem to look at it like that anyway with fastest NA P10 or fastest turbo P10 etc.

Hey Paul, has your Pulsar arrived from the land of the rising sun yet?

Mock up as below. The names and figures are ficticious. And the I have not yet completed the coding for the table..

The car worksheet contains all of the car numbers, car information and driver information.

Basically as we enter the car number, time and speed in to the "Race" worksheet of this spreadsheet, this leaderboard is automatically updated.. and I am now working on the time slip form that will grab the results for the most current race, send them to the time slip form and then print them so everyone can have a "professional" looking time slip.

Let me know if you like the "classes" I have chosen. I dont know the breakdowns of possible models for Stagea, Bluebird or Maxima so maybe someone can help me out there..
