ABS Fault code

does anyone know what this fault code means.

EXT signal circuit (abnormal)

The car is an SR20DE 99 Primera Wagon. CVT converted to manual.  The previous Owner said the ABS light came on after bridging some relay located in the relay box on the R/H side of the engine bay.  My assumption is it is the relay for the start inhibitor.
