hey guys finally had enough of my cvt gear box  in my P11 TE-V (the Stepper motor or a sensor F@#kd) Keeps Gting stuck in a low gear than kicks in suddenly  I'm looking at putting a manual gear box in   Any One know Where to Get it done in The Auckland Region? And how Much Will it All Cost?        Also does any one have a spare copy of   NZ Performance Car 142, October 2008? I herd It featured a 550hp Primera...Tuff!   I went onto magstore.nz to get a copy but there all sold out  .. cheerz

Is a manual conversion not something you'd want to tackle yourself?

If youve got tools or access to them I'd do it yourself or buddy up with a local club member for help. Mechanics are crooks and cars are just big boys Lego. For the cost of a mech you could go buy a manual one probably. Plus doing it yourself let's ya do those " other" jobs that might as well be done while ya there. ( cv's, rubbers, rack boots etc.) I try do anything that looks like its 6 months off buggered if its hard to get at. This forums full of people who will help ya out. Get some bits and go for it bro.
