Does anyone know where i can buy unhusked coconuts from,  Pathetically the green ones?

I figure the Otara markets in Auckland would be a good start but thats a 3 hour drive so want to be sure first,

Pathetically?

Otara or maybe Kaitaia, equally far unfortunately. I wouldn't think they would be imported with husk on anyway. Unnecessary weight and size.

Yea its going to be tricky to find i know,
Im looking to try grow a couple of trees see how it goes,  Most say it can't be done but my parents have a commercial glass house operation supplying turners and growers with alsort of things and already grow pineapples and other tropical stuff so if anyone can do it we/they can,

I'll look into Kaitia,
