Driver training group: (from Tony @ Playday)The driver training group is for anyone who wants to improve their driving skills, in a relaxed, low key, fun & friendly environment where you will learn a lot about car control and become a more competent & safer driver.
The day starts with some classroom instruction & during the day one of the instructors will ride with you to provide in car instruction.
We will run pace cars in the group so you can follow them & learn the best way around the corners (no passing & no tail gating) & we will start slowly & gradually increase the speed.
Between sessions the head instructor will answer questions & discuss what you have been doing & what he wants you to do next.
By the afternoon your confidence & ability will have increased significantly.
Mid-afternoon we will give you the option to remove the pace car so you can then drive as quickly as you want to, you will need a Helmet & 100% cotton or race overalls to do this part.
We are allocating 1 Group to Driver Training so you will be on the Track for 6 sessions throughout the day.
The training groups have proven very popular in the past with most people telling us how much fun they had & how amazed they are at how much they have learned.
Places are limited, so book early.

This is where we have organised to be staying:
Palmerston North Holiday ParkThough the trackday is in Feilding, Palmerston North is going to play host for the Saturday afternoon show'n'shine and the dinner at night. It's central, spacious, cheap enough and has enough variety for different sized groups.
The idea is that everyone organises their own accommodation; ie. make a group of friends who want to stay the same number of nights (out of Friday, Saturday and Sunday) and book yourself. No special password, you may have to give a deposit though. My advice would be to get in quick!
See YOU there!
