Car clubs of yesteryear

So I came across a few tapes of car club meetups on Roscommon and Te Irirangi Drive with numourous clubs representing. Prominent ones being Chosen Few, Bad Boy Killers and Outlawz. Whatever happened to these clubs? Are there still cars out there with stickers on them or have these clubs all pretty much dissolved. Fun times.....

Funnily enough, I saw a car with a chosen few sticker on it today. First time in years. It was an Integra, predictably...

There is a EG civic sedan all body kitted up around Whangarei with a big chrome chosen few sticker on it.

I also saw a chosen few car the other day. Didn't think to look at what kinda car it was, I was to busy laughing.

Another big-ish one was illicit car club, which i never see anymore.

As far as I know, most of these clubs were involved in illegal activity of varying degrees, some being a front for some serious stuff, and that was their demise. The ring leaders probably got picked off by the cops and it all fizzled out. (an educated guess, but probably right based on the people i knew who took part)

Was parked next to a chosen few 350z yesterday. I was just thinking I haven't seen them around for ages. The driver looked like a complete knobhead so that hasn't changed.

I saw a "chosen few racing" sticker on a forester a couple of days ago.

I still have Nissanz stickers on my Exa, which hasnt been on the road for 8 years haha.
I think the club was to broad and created a lack of common interests... maybe?
