Sunday Cruise February 15th, 2015
« on: 19 January, 2015, 05:17:26 PM »
Hi everyone

Time to get out and go for a club drive and take advantage of the falling petrol prices!

Place: Meet at Burger King Albany
Date: 15/02/15
Time: 10:00am
Depart 10:30am

Route. Head up Coatsville Riverhead highway to Old North Road, then up to Peak Road to Kaukapakapa for a quick regroup, then up to Woodcocks Road and over to Warkworth to grab some stuff for lunch from the bakery (or pack a picnic) before heading out to Tawharanui regional park for a swim, beach cricket or just chill.

Drive time is just under 2hrs (107 kms)

You don't need to be club member to attend just turn up, everyone welcome.

All road rules and speed limits will be obeyed and any silly driving will not be tolerated. Committee members will lead and be tail charlie.

See you all there!

Great route Rob.  Tawharanui is a beautiful place too.  Note that the last 7 or 8 k's are gravel road, it's not rough but it is narrow so use your brain.

Yeah well it was the only place I could think of that would have a big enough area for all the cars and give us somewhere to hang out

Should be a good day
