Do we have a How to section?
« on: 31 March, 2014, 08:57:01 AM »
I know there's plenty of how to stuff all over the forum but do we have a section dedicated to it?
A section where newbies (like myself) can go to and easily find detailed step by step instructions on how to do various tasks from very simple things like applying the club sticker (lol) to a complete rebuild etc.

It could be edited and posted to only by admins and eventually the club could even make it's own book!

what do you guys think?

Good idea.  Most things come naturally to some and not others so yeah I agree with you.. the thing is where do you start? So many things that could be explained

Have a look at the "Members Articles" section.

Build threads often have explanations as to how people have done stuff too.

yeah was thinking it would be good to have a few people compile the best how to's of everything and put them in one place with easy to read relevant titles.
could either have it paid member viewing only.
Or if you make it open to everyone then that may draw more people into the club?
Then have some sort of extra incentive to becoming a paid member (in addition to current incentives) like maybe access to the more detailed write ups or if we make videos for the "how to's"

Duno, just thinking that would make the club much more approachable and easier for the newbies haha
