MARCH 2010 - Josh (PrymeTyme)
.

.
It's been a fair few years since the NZPCC had such a strong presence in Christchurch.  Josh has been pivotal in increasing this presence, little wonder given his very obvious and infectious enthusiasm!  This enthusiasm can be seen in the effort he's put into his P11 - I for one can't wait to see it in person.

NZPCC: When and why did you first get your Primera?

Josh:  Um this is my first Primera and I’ve had it for 4 years now. I got it because I liked the look and engine size of the Primera and being a Nissan, it was bound to be very reliable.

NZPCC:  And what were your original plans for your Primera and have they changed?

Josh:  My original plans for my P11 were mags, lower it, tints and put in a good sound system. Have my plans changed? Quite severely lol

NZPCC:  What performance modifications have you made to your cars?

Josh:  W10 SR20DET, Front Mounted Intercooler, HKS SSQV, 3” Stainless Steel Intake pipe and K&N Pod, NGK Silicon Leads, New Plugs, 40mm Core Radiator, Full 2 ½” mandrel bent exhaust, Dobi Performance Springs, Tein Street Spec Type NA Shocks, Heavy Duty Clutch, Braided Brake Lines, Bendix Pads, DBA Slotted Rotors, Front Strut Brace.

NZPCC: What mods have you made to the exterior/interior?

Josh:  Modified front bumper, Camino side skirts and end caps, Nismo Grille, Facelift Headlights, DTM 099’s(17’s), Tinted Rear Lights, Debadged, 35% tints, Custom front window banner, Despoilered, Clear Side Indicators, Vinyled parcel tray, Kenwood 6x9’s, 6”s, 2x12” Subs, Amp and head unit, Nismo Gear Knob, Short Shifter, Painted Dash bits, Smoked lense gauges (Oil Press, Oil Temp, Boost), Painted Rocker Cover, Nismo Oil Cap, Silicon radiator hoses

NZPCC:  What do you love best about your Primera?

Josh:  The looks it gets when the turbo spools lol. And just that it’s a little bit different

NZPCC:  Any future modifications planned that we should know about?

Josh:   Wealth permitting hopefully a tune, Walbro 500hp fuel pump, Rear Strut Brace, a respray and something a little bit different with the bonnet Wink.

NZPCC:  If money was no object what would you do to your Primera?

Josh:  Go Crazy!!

NZPCC:  Do you have any performance figures, 1/4 mile times or lap times?

Josh:  No times yet but been out on ruapuna twice and broken an axle, clutch and exhaust gaskets Smiley

NZPCC:  What’s your favourite food and drink?

Josh:  Steak and a good beer doesn’t usually go amiss lol or a bourbon

NZPCC:  Favourite television programme?

Josh:   Top Gear, Big Bang Theory, Two and a half Men etc

NZPCC:  Are you married, have a partner or are you single and looking?

Josh:  Got a Partner Smiley

NZPCC:  What sort of cars have you owned in the past?

Josh:  used the parents Cynos before my P11 lol

NZPCC:  What is your favourite road to drive?

Josh:  Lewis Pass from Hanmer to Murchison.

NZPCC:  Do you prefer show, street, circuit or drag?

Josh:  Street and Circuit

NZPCC:  P10, P11 or P12?

Josh:  P11 FTW!

NZPCC:  How’d you find out about NZPCC & how has it benefited you?

Josh:  My mate at school found it and told me about it. I can’t even begin to describe how much this club has help me with my P11. The willingness to help and answer any questions I have had has been great.

NZPCC:  Any last comments you would like to make?

Josh:  I just want to say a massive thanks to all the people who have helped me make this car what it is today. A big thanks to my partner Teisha for driving me places when my cars been off the road and putting up with my senseless rambling about my car and future plans/problems. Thanks to my brother/mate Simon (DETest) for never failing to help me repair, modify, transplant my Primera. Thanks to the Chch guys for all the laughs (So Far!!) and I look forward to seeing some of the NI members at the national meet. Can’t Wait!

I always been impartial to the P10, but that is one sexy P11.

Keep it alive and mad props to you
