Title: Vzr flywheel dilemma
Post by: Nissan 4 Eva on 29 October, 2018, 11:23:33 AM
Hey guys just wanting to know if I should get my flywheel resurfaced  I took off clutch a week ago the flywheel looked fine but after a week of sitting it's got surface rust allover. Is there a way to get rid of it without removing the flywheel?

Nah, you've got to pull it off to resurface it properly. If you're replacing the clutch, it's a good idea to get the flywheel machined anyway, so the new clutch has a consistent surface to bed-in onto. Depending on where you bought the clutch kit from, they may do the flywheel machining for free.
