Title: Ignition Condenser
Post by: Notarikon on 12 December, 2018, 08:32:23 AM
Morning all,

A very quick question in regards to the Primera - when the ignition is in ACC, should the Ignition Condenser be receiving 12V or only when it's running? I've tested the ignition condenser as part of an error code diagnosis, and it's reading fine, but there's no power getting to its socket.

I've also got a replacement crankshaft sensor on its way, so if these two aren't the culprit ... timing belt :) I'm hoping it's the 12V issue :)

Thanks,

Matt

you need to explain better... there is no ignition condenser (they went out with points ignition!), and there is no crankshaft sensor on the SR20. I have no idea what you are asking.
