Track Day:

This year our track day will be held at Pukekohe Park Raceway (222 Manukau Rd, Pukekohe), and run with Playday on Track. We've run a few events with Gary and the team in the past, and they're an excellent day out for anyone from a complete novice to a seasoned track rat. Don't be put off by the pro-level circuit as-seen-on-TV, all you'll need to participate is:
  • A car that's up to WOF standard, or MSNZ Schedule A
  • 100% cotton or fireproof overalls (any safety apparel shop should have these)
  • A crash helmet in good condition
  • Closed shoes
  • An NZ drivers license or motorsport license
We also recommend cotton shirt, underclothes and socks (for fire safety).
The day will start when the gates open at 8am, with documentation closing at 9:30am and the mandatory driver's briefing at 9:40am. There will be a few low speed orientation laps immediately after this, followed by sessions in groups of similarly paced cars. There will be a food caravan on site for refreshments, and we'll be finishing up around 4:30pm.

Bring a full tank of gas, make sure your oil is clean and topped up, your brake pads are up to the task, and it's strongly recommended to bolt a fire extinguisher in - see the MightyCarMods video on this for some bracket inspiration!

Dinner:

The most important event on the NZPPCC social calendar, the post track day dinner! Share racing stories - remind everyone that you totally could have had that lambo for breakfast if you'd got your N1 cams in in time, and enjoy a cheeky beer or two... or a bucket of Sol, if that's your jam.

This will be held at Goode Brothers, New Lynn - 118/3058 Great North Rd. Time is TBC, but expect around 7.30pm - plenty of time to swap your semi slicks out for Linglongs and get down there.

No set menu this year, so no cost up front :)



Dyno Day:

Starting at 9am Sunday, Possum Bourne Motorsport (159 Manukau Rd, Pukekohe) have agreed to open up their dyno for us! This will be 4WD compatible, so bring your finest SR/GA/VQ/QG game and pick up some serious trash-talking ammo for the year to come. They can even monitor AFR and knock for you, and suggest setup/tuning changes, however this does come at an additional cost. Spots for this are severely limited, so get in quick!

$89 unmonitored/$129 monitored for club members, $100/$140 for public



Show and Shine:

While we're there, we will be hosting the traditional show and shine in the Possum Bourne Motorsport carpark! Starting at 9am, there will be prizes for Best Pulsar, Best Primera, Best Interior, and many more. Judging will be by all those attending, so sneak your mates in and take home a prize!

We will have the barbecue cranking as lunch time draws near, with a free sausage sizzle for club members - although a gold coin donation may score you a snag if you've not yet signed up.

To be eligible for the prizes donated by our lovely sponsors, you'll need to be a club member, have bought an official meet shirt, or attended the track/dyno day.



Cruise:

Departing from Possum Bourne Motorsport around 2pm, our local guides will be leading the group on a scenic tour of the southern side of Auckland - details will be announced on the day, but there will be plenty of photo opps and some epic driving roads.



Accomodation:

With the size of Auckland, we think it's easier for everyone to organise their own places to stay. Make sure you let everyone know where you are, and feel free to post up if you have beds to fill!



Shirts:

Of course, the classic NZPPCC meet shirt will be making another appearance. The design is still to be finalised, but they'll be in a similar style to the last few years - no wardrobe is complete without one!
