P12 Primera heater blower fan resistor location
« on: 03 October, 2018, 06:41:03 PM »
Hi Guys,

My heater fan is stuck on full.  I was told when I purchased my WP12 20V a month ago that the blower motor resistor required replacing.  Today my new resistor arrived, but I can't find where the resistor goes in the car.  I took outhe the glove box and surround so I have full access to the blower motor, but I can't see a resistor there.

Hi,

If it's the one I'm thinking of (white with silver heatsink coming out), it's up above the clutch (or footrest). You'll see a bright white plug with a black wire harness going into to (everything else is black) up and to the left.

Disconnect the -ve terminal on your battery. Unclip the harness and then there are two screws on the white part. Swap it out for the new one, plug it back in, and away you go.

If it's *not* this bit, upload a photo and I'll check my service guide :)
